Having
designed, organized
and produced many of the Vail Valley's events for over
twenty years, Mr. Beckley has vast experience in all elements
of event design and orchestration. Most notable would
be the opening and closing ceremonies for two World Alpine
Skiing Championships. In the 1989 event the entire audience
of five thousand people simultaneously released helium
filled balloons with "light sticks" ascending
high into the Rocky Mountain night sky. Attached to the
balloons and lights were the individual dreams of school
children from all over the world. Eventually, the winds
and jet stream carried the "Dreams" all over
the United States. Towns and individuals would find them
and many times contact the children directly hoping to
help make the childs dream come true.
At other times Mr. Beckley has transformed entire arenas
into "Time Machines" which took the audience
back in time to experience the history of a community.
The creation of an event is always about creating a magical
and memorable experience.
Whether a client's desire is a grand opening or a recurring
event to give a "Signature feel to a product,
Mr. Beckley and his team can deliver the finest event
imaginable.
