As a 30 year professional in the ski business Mr. Beckley has a comprehensive knowledge and expertise in all elements of skier safety. From his early days in the 70’s as a laborer and Emergency Medical Technician on Vail Mountain Mr. Beckley designed, and constructed many of the signs and closures on the mountain. With his experience on the Vail Ski Patrol he became skilled at all elements of accident handling and, more importantly, accident prevention. Mr. Beckley authored the award winning “Best skier safety program” award given by the National Ski Area Association. In the 1980’s the Colorado State Legislature honored Mr. Beckley for being a leader in Ski Safety. Over a period of 30 years of being a leader in skier safety, Mr. Beckley has testified, been deposed, and written on the subject of skier safety.
